Mathematics student wins Outstanding Presentation award

Mathematics student William Nathan Hack won an Outstanding Presentation award for his presentation "Dancing with Deforming Points" at the Mathematics Association of America's MathFest 2009 in Portland, Oregon, Aug. 5-9, 2009. His presentation was based on research he did this summer with Dr. Sungkon Chang, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, and carries a cash prize of $100.
