Welcome to my School of Computing faculty/staff page.
I came to Armstrong Atlantic in January 1998 as a nontraditional part-time student and by Fall 1998,
I was a full-time CS student. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a B.S. in
Computer Science in May 2000, and I enjoyed employment with a startup biotech company through
the end of 2001. I returned to the School of Computing in January 2002 as a full-time employee and
graduate student. I received an M.S. degree in Computer Science in December 2003.
I have worn many hats since returning to Armstrong Atlantic's School of Computing.
Currently, I am a part-time instructor, co-PI of three recent NSF CSEMS grant totaling $1.1 million,
ACM advisor, student worker supervisor, recruiter, presentation developer, programmer,
graphic designer, and School of Computing Faculty/Staff First Day Campaign Chairman.
I have also coordinated several events for the School of Computing: Yamacraw Day
2002 & 2003, the annual School of Computing Quiz Bowl, and the annual School of
Computing Spring Banquet. More recently, I participated in the Leaders Among
Us program and helped put together the inaugural Regional Tech Fest 2005.
